THE PHOENIX

Square Sail own and operate the magnificent square rigger Phoenix. For filmwork, the ship can be converted, adapted and re-rigged by our skilled shipwrights to replicate almost any period and ship that is needed.

MARINE FILM TANK & HARBOUR

The lock-in facility of Charlestown Harbour controls the water levels for the Inner Basin, thus providing a unique controlled film tank facility for day and night filming.

SHIP CONSTRUCTION

If a conversion is unrealistic to achieve the desired result, we can construct you a new vessel from scratch.

SHIP CONVERSION

We are able to convert our own ship to any period or appearance as required. We have vast experience in this field.
