Ship Conversion
Our three square rigged tall ships can represent vessels from a wide range of historical periods spanning many centuries, from the 15th through to the early 20th century.
Often, minimal conversions can successfully alter the appearance of our ships, examples include:-
The addition of a funnel on the Kaskelot and minimal dressing transformed the ship into Shackleton's Endurance
Paddle wheels were added to the Phoenix for the film adaptation of 'Great Expectations'

Other, more extensive conversions include the transformation of the Phoenix and Earl of Pembroke for Mel Gibson's Apocalypto
False windows were constructed on the stern of the Earl of Pembroke for the 'Hornblower III' television series

For 'Amazing Grace' the Kaskelot was 'aged' to become the dilapidated slave ship 'Madagascar'
And conversions for Ridley Scott's '1492 Conquest of Paradise'
