Ship Conversion & Construction - 1492 : Conquest of Paradise

A famous example of Square Sail’s skills was the conversion of the Brigantine ‘Phoenix’ and the schooner ‘Carrie’ to replicate ‘Santa Maria’ and ‘Pinta’ for Ridley Scott’s epic film “1492 : Conquest of Paradise”

Ship Conversion & Construction - The Last Place on Earth

Kaskelot underwent a major conversion when she starred as Capt. Scott’s ‘Terra Nova’ for the film “The Last Place on Earth”. In the same film she was converted to replicate Roald Amundsen’s ‘Fram’ before being taken back 200 years in rig and hull shape to become ‘Saracen’ in “Return to Treasure Island”. She has subsequently been converted for ‘Cutthroat Island’; ‘Longitude’ and most recently Channel 4’s production ‘Shackleton’ when she replicated the ‘Endurance’
