2008 SEASON ALMOST HERE!

After a hard-working winter of planning and getting our ships ready for what we envisage will be a busy summer, our 2008 schedule of activities is now in its final stages of completion. So far, the Kaskelot and the Earl of Pembroke are booked to attend Brest 2008 in July, and both will be taking part in a spectacular Tall Ship parade to Douarnanez on the 17th. Also lined up for the Kaskelot and Earl of Pembroke is Ostend 2008, another Maritime festival in Belgium from 22nd to the 25th May. Coming soon is the Plymouth Armetis Transat Race, where the Earl of Pembroke will be a major feature for the 10 day event along the Barbican, and continuing from previous years’ success at UK Maritime Festivals, our ships are scheduled to attend Dublin, Bangor (N. Ireland), Belfast and Milford Haven. Berths will be available on passages to and from most of these festivals, where passengers are given the opportunity of sailing on our traditional Square Riggers as part of the crew. Details will be posted on our Sailing Programme webpage along with the day sails we will be running by April. Keep your eyes peeled for the new Square Sail website which will be launched very soon!
