Square Sail's fleet on the way home!

Having completed an extremely successful filming schedule in Gloucester Docks for a major feature film on the abolition of slavery, Square Sail's fleet have been waiting a suitable 'weather window' to make their way back home to Charlestown. After a slightly frustrating time, waiting for the strong winds to abate, the Kaskelot and Earl of Pembroke were able to travel down the Sharpness Canal and hope to leave for Charlestown in the early hours of Saturday morning (12th November). Once the two bigger ships are safely back in their home port, a team from Square Sail will return to Gloucester Docks to bring home the Phoenix. We will then be commencing the winter lay-up/maintenance programme in preparation for next year. Thanks to all those in Gloucester who called and emailed to say how nice it was to see the ships at the Docks and we hope many of you got a chance to see the Kaskelot & Earl going down the Canal. Thanks, also to all those who sailed with us this season and sent us such positive feedback - see you on board next year! We are endeavouring to prepare the 2006 sailing programme and we will get it out to everyone by post and publish it on our website as soon as possible.
