A busy season !!

27 June 2006

The season began with filming a French version of 'Treasure Island' at Charlestown involving Phoenix and Earl of Pembroke. As soon as this was completed, the Earl of Pembroke and the Kaskelot left Cornwall for a festival in Rotterdam. The two ships then sailed to Milford Haven for another festival. On 28th June, the Earl and Kaskelot will sail for the Sea Festival in Belfast and from there to Weymouth. After Weymouth, the vessels will go to France for the festival in Douarnenez, finally returning to Charlestown in August. During this time the Phoenix is undergoing work in Charlestown and when the Earl of Pembroke returns in August, these two ships will be temporarily converted to Spanish Galleons for a major feature film. Wow! What a busy time we're having! Hopefully some of you will be able to sail on one of our short sails - the Earl at Weymouth or the Kaskelot from Charlestown this year - book asap - places are going fast!!
