New ownership

Square Sail is now under the ownership of Square Sail Ventures Ltd.  The change of ownership will not affect any of the services and facilities Square Sail has always offered and all the present staff, skilled shipwrights and ship’s crew will remain with the Company.  However, in addition to the wonderful harbour at Charlestown, the beautiful tall ship ‘Phoenix’ and our existing skills and expertise we will now be able to offer film and television productions additional, expanded services including staging; a comprehensive selection of props and (as part of our set construction department) set design and scenic painting. 

Head of Square Sail Ventures is Shane McCarthy who also owns Atlantic Production Ltd which has been operating for over 20 years and offers a wide range of services from set design and staging to innovative large scale temporary structures.  Atlantic Production Ltd has become a market leader in the production of live events and temporary venues.
